Adobe Acrobat Pro X won't print from imacOS Sierra

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro X, on imacOS Sierra 10.12.2.  Today, the iMac could no longer print PDF documents on my little HP printer, and this afternoon the iMac could no longer print on my Brother printer.  I tried to get Adobe updated under HELP, but get a message that I cannot connect to the adobe server.
