System Center deployed Acrobat opens SharePoint PDF locally instead of opening server copy

When we deploy Acrobay Xi using the System Center and the user opens a PDF from a SharePoint page it is opening the PDF from a locally cached/downloaded version (as seen from File - Properties).  This means that any changes made are not saved to the server because it's actually working with a local copy instead of the server copy.

 

If we install Acrobat manually then it properly opens the PDF from the SharePoint server.  This method saves changes to the server since that's where it's actually opening the file.

 

We checked through Edit - Preferences on both systems and everything seems the same.

 

What needs to be configured to have the automated deploy open the PDF from the SharePoint server?
