Acrobat Pro DC on Continuous Track & Updating

I'm working on doing a deployment of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.  We have the subscription version and I've configured it using the Customization Wizard to allow automatic updating.

 

My question is this, once it's deployed on computers will the automatic updating work for users with no admin rights? or do they need admin rights in order to install future updates as they are released?

 

Thanks in advance for any input you can give me in answering this question for me.

I just heard about personalization of pdfs with filters like e-motions etc. Does anyone know how to access these features in Acrobat?

I work for a newspaper and after upgrating quark xpress i can't print color separation. they suggested me to use adobe acrobat

I bought acrobat dc 2015 but i can either print separation or use the poster option (tiling), but not toghether.

since i need them both because my newspaper is bigger from my A3 ps printer, so i have to go with the poster option, and i need the separation color printing,

is there any solution for that? maybe another version of acrobat? Please let me Know.

I am trying to run the CCP on Windows 10 64Bit, logged in as local pc administrator. I can go through the settings to create package,  set the package details (file name, location, organization, 64-bit package, Device license, correct pool, checked box for Creative Cloud Desktop Application and both boxes under that, no custom settings. When I click next, the Adobe Application Manager reports that it has stopped working, and the only option is to close the program.

I need to remove the download link  as I'm using a customized  installer for Acrobat Pro DC to remove unwanted features, like cloud Storage.

How to enable a forms made on Acrobat Pro DC, able dynamic bar-code to work on free acrobat reader.

 

I made form on Acrobat Pro DC and insert fillable fields. I also include a dynamic bar-code. Nevertheless, in the free acrobat reader, the bar-code disappear when someone start to fill the form. The bar-code remain disappear even after fill in and saving of that form.

 

How to solve this issue?

Does Pro DC require a Bar-code Reader Extensions? if yes, link that product please.

My organization uses Adobe Pro. If we have two discreet environments, can we extend a current license for a user's instance of Adobe Pro to the virtual environment?

Has anyone had any success installing and using acrobat dc pro and creative cloud for teams in a virtual environment?

We deployed a VDI environment this year and we want to virtualize acrobat dc pro to our office users. we have creative cloud for teams device licenses.  I tried using VMware thin app to virtualize it and it created fine, but when pushed out to users, they get an error. After they close the error box, it will work, but if they close acrobat and open it again, it won't open. 

 

Has as anyone been successful with creative cloud and acrobat in a vmware environment? Is it technically even supported in a VDI environmen?

Acrobat DC doesn't work with FileMaker after Windows and Adobe updates

We are using Acrobat Pro DC on several computers in our company (both Windows 7 and 10).  We also use FileMaker (versions 14 and 15) which has container fields that we place pdf files into.  FileMaker displays the pdfs in the container fields using a combination of Internet Explorer and the default pdf viewer (Acrobat in our case).  Last week after the Windows and Adobe updates we started getting this error:

 

"There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader.  If it is running please exit and try again (9:9)."

 

and FileMaker crashes after hitting OK in the error message box. 

 

I fixed a Windows 7 PC by disabling the Adobe Reader add-on in Internet Explorer.  However, the Adobe Reader add-on does not show up in any of the Add-on lists when I go to Manage Add-Ons in Internet Explorer 11 on a Windows 10 PC.  I uninstalled Acrobat, ran a registry cleaner, then reinstalled an older version of Acrobat DC and the pdfs in container fields show up in FileMaker until Acrobat updates and the error message comes back.

 

I contacted FileMaker tech support and they said it sounded like an Adobe issue, so they weren't much help.

 

Has anyone else had this FileMaker / Adobe issue?  It sounds similar to the problems described in another thread https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2221850

How to resend invitation

Hi, my coporate ordered an Acrobat Standard DC and I received an invitation email from message@adobe.com. When I click the accept invitation link, it requires a login and password so I create my new account. After that I try to accept the invitation again but it said "this invitation was already accepted. If you feel you've reached this message in error, please talk with your team administrator and ask them to reinvite you".

Then I wrote an email to our IT admin but unfortunately he said "I have no clue about this either. Adobe is external company providing their product which makes Internal IT very hard to support".

 

So please advise what I should do next. My email is: wendy.lam@sophos.com and I look forward to hearing a solution. Guess our IT admin can't help anything here. Many thanks.

Acrobat failed to load its core dll - Windows 2 Go Stick

Hello everybody,

 

we're using Adobe Acrobat DC Standard Version 2015.006.30279 on Windows 2 Go Sticks in a business environment and do receive the following error message "Acrobat failed to load it's core dll" at startup of Acrobat.

 

This error does only occur on our Windows 2 Go Sticks with Windows 8.1 64Bit installed and we have found out, that it's a reproduceable issue. The problem does not occur on our Workstations and Notebooks.

 

We found out, that the root cause of this problem is Windows patch/update KB4012216 March 2017 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 8.1.

After installing this patch, Acrobat isn't working anymore ("Acrobat failed to load it's core dll" message appeared). When I manually uninstall/rollback this patch -> Acrobat is working again.

 

It would be great if you have any suggestions, workarounds or even a solution for this issue.

I am trying to uninstall Adobe Acrobat 9, 10, 11 Pro for one of my client through silent Batch file but the product is not getting uninstalled. I tried to uninstall manually on one of client PC and got the prompt "Uninstallation Dialog cannot continue. One or more applications are using files that are marked for uninstall. Please close all open applications before continuing." Please let me know the forceful process to uninstall the application.

What are the current SCUP catalog urls for Reader DC /10/11 and Adobe Acrobat?

Dear all,

 

I have trouble publishing updates with SCUP right now. Catalog for Adobe flash player works fine, but all reader and Adobe Acrobat catalogs seem to wrong.

 

As advised on this website SCCM-SCUP — Enterprise Administration Guide  I used the catalog adress http://armmf.adobe.com/manifest/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/AcrobatCatalog-2015.cab  for publishing the Reader DC.

Import works, but when trying to publish I get the following error in MS SCUP:

PublishItem: Download Content: Failed to download file 'http://armdl.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/Acrobat2015/1500630243/Acrobat2015Upd15006302 43.msp'.

 

What's the correct catalog adress for Reader DC/10/11 and Adobe Acrobat 10 and 11?

i installed on a user with 150% screen magnification, now adobe menu is off the bottom of the screen

This user has special settings to see better. They are using 150% magnification in Windows 7 and 1400x900 resolution on a 24" monitor. This will also look like this if I remote onto her computer with our ManageEngine DesktopCentral software. How do we get the main window of Adobe to be the correct size?

Within Outlook 2013, when users receives a pdf attachment, they can open the psf attachment but when they click File then Save As, they receive the following error message, "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator.

Our customer purchased the Acrobat Professional DC2015 12.0 MLP AOO License IE (65258987). Volume license of Acrobat Pro DC.

 

Acrobat will be installed on the OS image of VDI and those hosts are not accessible to internet. Therefore, I would like to setup serialized license activation.

I am referring to this manual page.

I downloaded Adobe application manager 10.0. Installed it by clicking setup.exe. After that, it shows updating the application and it is completed. However, I cannot find adobe_prtk command.

 

Isn't it included the Adobe application manager 10.0? How can I make adobe_prtk available?
