There is a password protected file in the Preflight folder created when installing Acrobat Reader. Is there a way to prevent this file from being generated? What is the .pfx file used for?
Hi

Hi
I am looking to upgrade Adobe Reader from version 17.011.30096 to 17.011.30105 using group policy.
We are using the base version: Acrobat 2017 Release (Classic Track base release) — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products)
And patching it with the 17.011.30105 update:17.011.30105 Planned update, October 02, 2018 — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products
Once the updates are packages together, we deploy using a GPOFileSource location.
This process has worked in the past but now displays the dialogue below when installed.
Once 'Open with protected mode disabled' is selected, the error below is presented.
I have been successful in manually installing the updates without using group policy.
As far as I can tell permissions are identical to previous deployments.
We have already tried disabling McAfee buffer overflow on my machine but this hasn't helped.
Can anyone help with this please.
Many thanks
Chris
Hallo zusammen,
Please let me have a sample xml file, which is InTune compatible, with configuration for removing DropBox and Other Locations from the deployed app.
I have already visited Enterprise Mobility Management — Enterprise Guide for Acrobat on Mobile Devices
Thanks!
How do i get new downloads to register with my enterprise subscription and not have to purchase for each installation?
Je suis titulaire d'un compte Adobe ID (personnel) et je désire créer un Enterprise ID pour acquérir d'autres abonnements pour des employés.
Comment procéder ?
I am creating a package for global deployment(31,000 endpoints). I have been asked to remove the "Online Support" and "Repair Installation" menu items.
Acrobat DC
Version: 19.008.20071
I have tried to use a Java script from Reader install instructions for Reader 9.
//HideMenu.js
//Hides Help – Repair Adobe Reader Installation
app.hideMenuItem(“DetectAndRepair”);
//Help – Online Support
app.hideMenuItem(“OnlineSupport”);
This is not working.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete
Last year, we deployed Adobe Acrobat DC with a perpetual license key with offline exemption. Within the last week, some users, less than 5%, have been prompted to log in when starting the application rendering it unusable. The current workaround is to uninstall then reinstall the software and we're looking for a better way. What is the best way to troubleshoot this issue?

Hi,
I found RUM is updating correctly Acrobat but when used with --productVersions=APRO" nothing is happening. What does it means?
Thanks,
François
Have been running Adobe DC or Creative Suites using Named User deployment in a Cittrix XenDesk 7.16 environment using stateless machines with user profiles for 6months with no issues. Yesterday when users tried to login to Adobe DC they are getting the popup for the "License limit reached" and the two options to either "sign me out of other computers so I can sign in here"or "I signed out of one computer so I can sign in here" Each user has their own Named User license assigned. What all of sudden could be causing the license to not "release/reset" when the VDI machine is shutdown. Once again this starting happening just yesterday and is taking place with separate companies that we support each with their own Adobe Subscription Accts. The architecture for the XenDesk environment is the same for all of them.
I have looked over this site and have found ways to manually remove the software. Is there a way to silently remove it from a MAC?
Thanks,
NC
My customer has bought two licenses for Acrobat Standard DC 2017 (classic track). One German license key and one "International English" license key.
So I have created two different .MST-files using Acrobat Customization Wizard one for each license key.
Both files are identical except for the license key used for installation.
Deployments are working fine, but when I start the Acrobat Distiller from the German installation it looks like this:
In comparison this is the GUI of the english Distiller as it should be:
No reboot or reinstallation could change that. I already tried to switch the Windows GUI, but no change.
The target OS-platform is Windows 7 Enterprise (64-bit) patchlevel November 2018.
I have not found any comparable issue when googling, yet.
Has anybody got the same or similar issue and any hint how to fix that?
Hi,
The link below shows the font pack. Is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack free?
Dear Community,
We run a local-domain based Terminal Server 2012 R2 as a HyperV VM guest, with thin clients connecting to it.
The same was happening when TS was running as a VMware guest on ESXi 6.5 host.
All users use Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (2015) in parallels with some other 3rd party solutions, i.e. Worldox GX4 is one of those.
Staff is opening PDF files and then editing, running OCR or just highlighting parts of documents they wish to come back to later.
However, we have noticed that quite often and in files of varying size and complexity (from single page, all text to hundreds of pages, content-rich documents) after a while open PDF file will just go blank?
All highlighting lost, all editing changes lost etc.
The only way to go back to the file is to close Acrobat and re-open the file, hoping some changes have been saved.
The only way we can prevent this is by frequently saving the file which is being manipulated at the time.
However, it's very inconvenient for our staff to focus on having to save changes every couple of minutes, rather than work.
We initially thought this may be due to corrupt Terminal Server profile, but that can be excluded now.
We also supposed it may do with the low available RAM - server is assigned 32 GB, but it's never in use over 70%.
Any ideas?

Hello all.
We are deploying Adobe Reader DC via SCCM on our network with specific settings, and each time we wish to apply patches or updates via SCUP with the official Adobe catalog imported, the settings are being reset on our client workstations. (viewer.aapp being recreated, desktop icon being recreated, file associations...).
Is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks in advance for any clue anyone may have.
Bonjour,
Cordialement
