I've downloaded what I think is the most recent Customization Wizard but it won't open the Acrobat DC MSI file for version 19.0. Can anyone provide some insight? Wizard installed was CustWiz1900820071_en_US_DC.exe. MSI file is in the Build directory - Acrobat DC 19.0.msi. Error message in wizard is "Wizard cannot modify this MSI package"

I'm not really sure if this is the best place to ask but we're experiencing a very odd issue which started around a month ago and I can't find a support link to contact Adobe directly.

We deploy Adobe Reader to our client PCs using the 2017 Classic track, currently patched to 17.011.30138 (latest available).

We've had roughly 20 users report to us that their PDF files (hosted on network shares) are disappearing when they try to open them. I'm not sure where to start looking on this one. I can't find anything related to this in Microsoft support forums and it only seems to be PDF files that are affected. This occurs on multiple file shares and across Windows 7 and 10. The only constant seems to be Adobe Reader.

Has anyone else experienced this?

acrobat reader dc 를 사용중인데 몇일전에 갑자기 사라졌네요..

기업이라 여러 pc가있는데 대부분 pc들이 같은 증상이고,다시 설치하려고 했더니 이미 최신버전이 설치되어있다고 나오네요.

프로그램 추가제거 에도 안보여서 삭제도 못하고있습니다. program폴더에도 없구요..

그리고 디자인팀에서 사용중인 cs6에 무료버전 말고 acrobat reader pro 또한 같은 현상입니다...

방법이 있을까요?

Several days, we are trying to download the installation packages for Adobe Reader DC from the Adobe FTP-site, but the directory remains blank, or it is unavailable a few folders deeper in the folder tree.

This way, we cannot update our customers installation packages.

Please solve this matter asap please!

Greeting

Computers have both Adobe Acrobat 9 & Adobe Reader (v18... or v19...). We are in the process of uninstalling all Acrobat 9's through a mass push out using the below command. We started with a test group using:

MsiExec.exe /X{AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-7760-0E0F06755100} /QN /NoRestart

...and they are seeing one of the following two errors even after setting the MSIExec to restart.

There is a problem with adobe acrobat/reader. If it is running, please exit and try again. (1:1)

The Adobe Acrobat/Read that is running can not be used to view PDF files in a web browser. Adobe Acrobat/Reader version 8 or 9 is required. Please exit and try again.

Now we could run the repair on adobe to fix the issue but we have a few hundred to uninstall so repairing is our last option.

Any thoughts as to the issue? It seems the message occurs when opening PDF's within IE or SAP. You can open a PDF from File Explorer w/o issue.

I am leaning toward an Adobe add-in issue but not sure.

Trying to obtain Reader DC updates (.msp) for deployment using SCCM. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ no longer takes me to updates & cannot locate on the site. I do have a current enterprise license agreement to download both Flash Player & Reader DC. Renewed it today just in case. I do not want the full product. This is the ability to download and deploy updates to existing Reader DC installs. We do not wish to have Reader DC auto-update due to band-width issues at 600+ sites. The update is deployed through SCCM so it downloads & installs after business hours. Thanks.

In an enterprise that uses smart cards with digital certificates, it might be undesirable for users to create self-signed Digital IDs.

How does one disable this feature and/or force the use of smart card based certificates?

When I checked today on 5/15/2019, the Adobe Updates link is no longer hosting the former content.

this used to be on www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html but now goes to downloads of the full apps with no updates at all.

How are updates for Acrobat Pro installations supposed to be getting deployed now through Kaseya if we cannot download the MSP files to apply incremental patches to the Adobe Acrobat Pro installation on a PC?

We have a distribution agreement for Flash so we can get the MSI files for those directly. It appears that all of Adobe's "enterprise" methods have nothing to do with working through an RMM, but rely upon mechanisms such as Active Directory and Group Policy. Which all that is fine in those contexts, but what if you have a diverse set of PCs that still need to be fully patched? They are not all added to Active Directory.

Why did Adobe remove access to download the MSP files?

We are currently using Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP) Data Classification product for classifying our documents.

I would like to ask is it possible that when I click on the 'Internal' Classification label button that it inserts the word 'Internal' in the footer of the PDF file.

Currently this works for Microsoft Word, but was unsure if this feature is available in PDF. Please assist.

We have included Adobe Acrobat DC Standard 2015 in our Windows 10 image. We get prompted for sign-in after imaging a new PC. If we do a single install of the software, we do not. We built our package using the Adobe Customization Wizard. Is there a way to have it in our image and not get the sign-in prompt?

Since Friday 4/21/17, I've been trying to do a fresh and incremental update with AUSST using two different computers, one PC and one Mac. I keep getting the same error when running AUSST "Received an error code 9 while processing for Acrobat." This is using the latest version of AUSST.

I am working in an environment with about 1300 systems with a variety of adobe products being deployed one of which is the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2018.009.20050.

I was tasked with finding a way to disable Protected Mode\View as it is causing an issue with our users and their older PDFs.

Through most of my research everything points to how to do it in the gui and some antiquated registry keys for 2015 version.

After a great deal of time vested in what seems to be a dead end I am here to ask if there is a registry key I can deploy using GPO in order to turn "OFF" Protected view :Adobe Acrobat Pro DC version 2018.009.20050?

Something strange is that I also notice that there was supposed to be a check box for "Enable Protected mode at startup" on the Security [Enhanced] section. It seems to be removed from the 2018 version or could it be due to a customization wizard. Here is a link to what I thought it was supposed to look like with the check box in place.

Keep in mind for mine that check box and the nomenclature is removed leaving a gap of space and then it starts off with "Protected View".

Good morning. I’ve bought a license in creative cloud about acrobat.

I’ve download the trial version but at app opening it ask for serial (even I’ve login in to my adobe account). It doesn’t happen with other app.

What can I do to solve this issue?

Am getting the following errors after publishing the latest Adobe Flash Player and Acrobat Reader DC updates to a client SCCM environment and when attempting to down them to the deployment package - Failed to download content id 16799628. Error: Invalid certificate signature.

I am able to download all of my other updates to their deployment packages without a problem. Please help.

Using Custom wizard for Acrobat professional DC by enabling remove Reader DC Not working(Reader DC still retains on machine)

REMOVE_PREVIOUS_READER= YES property is added to MST

on top of it , while installing Acrobat Pro DC, even Reader DC is getting upgraded to latest version.

Since few days, we've got an error on AUSST 5 during a fresh or incremental sync on a Windows server.

The error is : "Received an error code 9 while processing for Acrobat."

Since, the Acrobat Pro DC is missing on the app pannel of Creative Cloud.

We understand than error means the file is not found on the server but we don't know if it's on the Adobe's server? In this case how many time before the error was fixed?

SCUP Catalog - ConfigMgr Syncing Issues

I'm running into an issue when attempting to publish any Adobe Acrobat Reader update. The SMS_ISV log shows the following errors:

Catalog "Adobe" does not include content signing certificates, attempts to publish update content for updates from this catalog may be unsuccessful until content signing certificates are added and approved.

Failed to publish update "241860f5-5d0b-4076-a841-a1a46687c3e6" due to missing update metadata.

Under Certificates within ConfigManager I see two Adobe certs and both are unblocked but the issue remains. In other forums I see people mentioning how their issue was fixed after approving the certs, well in my case they already are.

For testing I've subscribed to the following Adobe catalogoes:
