Disabling Social Sign in Option in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 2018

Hi Team, Recently we have packaged Adobe Acrobat DC Pro 2018 and we have not included the license information as part of the package. The license will be configured by the service desk team as there are limited license allocated to the organization. The concern here is that when we launch the shortcut we get the social account sign in option like Facebook and Google which should not be displayed. Request you to please check from your end, is there any way to disable the social options when license information is not part of the package?? Your assistance will be very helpful in getting this resolved.

Disable adobe right-click context menu using Active Directory

Hello,

We would like to disable the adobe right mouse click context menu for our employees that don't have rights to use the Adobe Acrobat pro XI software. With Active Directory we can control the users in GROUPS who can see and use the Adobe acrobat pro XI software, but as standard all users see the adobe acrobat pro right click context menu which is used to convert/combine to PDF.

We can disable the whole adobe context menu by editing or removing the root registry key (see under) but then the users with rights for adobe pro XI can't use it anymore. Normally enabling/disabling registry keys isn't a problem when it's a current user key, but the context menu is found in the ROOT class.

@="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Adobe\\Acrobat 11.0\\Acrobat Elements\\ContextMenuShim64.dll"

"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"

Can somebody help us how we can manage the right click context menu using Active Directory user Groups?

If there are any questions, just let me know!

How to disable "Open documents as new tabs" in Customization Wizard

I'm using the Acrobat Customization Wizard DC to deploy Acrobat DC and the only piece missing is configuring it to open PDFs in separate windows as opposed to in separate tabs within the same window.  I've been unable to find a registry key to copy or a line in the direct editor.

How do I register multiple copies of Acrobat Pro 2017 in an office environment?

We recently purchased a volume license for Adobe Acrobat 2017. I used my own Adobe ID to log in/download software/retrieve a license, which was no big deal. I noticed I had to use my Adobe ID to register the software after installation.

My question is, do I have to get every user that will be installing this software a unique Adobe ID to register the software on their machines after I install it? I doubt they will want to see my name in the upper right corner of the software if I register everyone's software with my Adobe ID.

AUSST not downloading Acrobat DC internally

Hi All,

Recently, instead of any download & installation of Acrobat DC going via our local product repository set up as part of our AUSST deployment, it attempts to go externally to download from the Adobe servers (blocked by our proxy by default). All other products such as, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc. all download as they should from our internal repo.

We've completed a fresh synchronisation twice now - to no avail. It is only the Acrobat DC product which is affected.

Any way to get all download requests to reach our internal services like all our other products?

Thanks in advance,

JT

Adobe, canon, and printing

Hello all,

Have an issue that I need to get some input on. We have a lab with 25 imacs. These Imacs all run Creative cloud software, and use a Canon 5550i to print. The problem is, when trying to print from say InDesign, the built in print engine bypasses the Canon department ID prompt when trying to send a print job to the 5550i Canon. Therefore, we are not able to send jobs to the printer. Has anyone ran into this, and if so how did you resolve it? The printer is setup to use department ID on each machine, and it only seems to happen with Adobe software. All other software works just like it should.

19.008.20071 distribution version doesn't install the Chrome extension.

I've created an application installation in SCCM to install 19.008.20071. Everything works fine in the install, but the Chrome extension isn't being installed and I need this feature for my Business Services folks.

If I download the public version of .20071 to a single machine and install, the Chrome extension is there.

How can I get the extension to install with version that I download for distribution use? I'm packaging this for distribution to 300+ machines.

Why does the Adobe PDF printer get removed.

I have 125 installs of Acrobat 2017 pro on Windows 7 SP1 64bit. They are set to automatically update both windows and acrobat. All updates have been applied. Periodically the "Adobe PDF" printer gets removed from a few random machines and I have to do a repair to put it back. Also in some cases this has occurred several times on the same machine.

I wonder if anyone can offer any advice on how to determine why the printer gets removed so we can take steps to avoid this issue.

Thanks,

Jeff

Install Acrobat DC Pro on Windows Server 2016 (Program close right after start)

Acrobat DC Pro close itself right after start.

I know someone already ask the same question years ago. But this problem still not yet solve.

https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2249430

The version of Acrobat DC Pro is 2015 Classic. An update which released on 13-Nov-2018 was installed.

Adobe support was remote to my server attempt to solve the problem. But failed and gave me the link below and said install on Windows Server need special steps.

Do I really need to use the Wizard to create a custom installer for the installation on Windows server?

Redact option in Adobe Reader DC

$

Hi, I am looking for some advice.

We currently have Adobe Reader DC installed on Terminal Servers which are used by multiple users. There is a requirement for a small amount of users to have the ability to perform redactions within PDF documents.

My questions are:

1- Can we purchase the Redact option for specific users and for them to login and have the ability to Redact using Reader DC

2- If no to above, what are the implications for having two versions of Adobe DC on the same Terminal Servers? Do we need to license everyone for the full version, or because it requires the users to login then we can co-exist suffice?

3 - We have multiple servers in the Farm (max 50 in one farm currently), so potentially any time a user logs in they could end up on a different server. Therefore is the license for the user or a combination of the user and the device that they are logging on to.

Thanks

How to get Acrobat back?

How can I get my Adobe Acrobat back. I came back from winter break and my Adobe was a trial version. I tried to reinstall it using my packager that I made for 2018 and it failed at least 6 times. I really need Acrobat, please help. We are device licenses and I only go through the Adobe Console to create a package. I don't see any Adobe Acrobat in the archive versions choices. Thank you, I hope you can help me, maybe you can send me a Link. All of the other CC 2018 apps are working fine, just not Acrobat.

Installing creative cloud with Acrobat DC with SCCM

Hello,

I have created a package using Creative Cloud Packager that includes CC and Acrobat DC. When it installs, only CC is only installed. Any ideas?

Also in CC is there a way to only show the products that are assigned to the user? We assign to the license through the admin portal.

Thanks
