All - I am creating a Acrobat Design Standard CC Suite package to deploy to our company, which includes Acrobat DC. Because of our Licensing situation, it needs to be configured to only start in Trial Mode. I used the Acrobat DC Customization tool and I do not see this option anywhere in there. Does anyone know how to do this? Perhaps via a command line switch during install, or maybe the option is buried in the Acrobat DC Customizer and I just don't see it or its obvious?

I have used the customization wizard, input my serial number and every time I install the Acrobat package I am prompted to Sign In to Activate my software.
In the customization wizard I have tried to click "Grant Offline Exception", but I get an error every time (log at bottom).
I need to find a way to disable this box as the users that have the software will not have an associated Adobe account to activate the software.
Can anyone help?

How can the menu item " SignIn / Sign Out " ( Menu : Help > SignIn / Sign Out ) are hidden / disabled (Adobe Acrobat DC)?

I work for an IT service provider and we are in the process of taking on a new customer’s IT infrastructure. At present the customer has a series of desktop PCs all with Adobe Acrobat Standard installed. The new solution we are providing for them is a thin client Citrix environment and I need to understand our licensing obligations for this.
I have searched for your Citrix policy and have found the following document around Acrobat licensing.

I have extracted the part specifically for Citrix:
Hosted server software (e.g., Citrix)
Acrobat may be installed and used on hosted server software server for direct usage by end users (no automated, programmatic, or scripted usage or other restrictions as stated in the EULA) so long as each individual named user with access to the application and/or the Acrobat print driver must have a license. (For example - 100 named users have hosted server software access. Out of those 100 users, only 50 have access to the Acrobat application and/or the Acrobat print driver. This would require 50 Acrobat licenses.)
Licenses are intended to be fixed NOT concurrent. In other words, you can’t remove access for one user in order to give that access to a different user and then return access back to the original user. Users should be static. Notwithstanding the foregoing, permanent switchovers are acceptable (i.e., an employee has left the company). No sharing of a single hosted server software ID. Each End User must have his own unique login to hosted server software to use Acrobat. No usage in which the user population would be uncountable. (For example – no use of a shared ID that allows multiple people to log into a shared hosted server software account to use Acrobat. This would create an uncountable user population).
The customer does not need to purchase a license for the hosted server software.
This states that licenses must be fixed to users but does not state how they need to be locked down within Citrix. The way we are looking to provide Adobe Acrobat Standard is to set it up as a “Published Application” in Citrix. This will be associated with an Active Directory group and then only users within that group will have access to the application. We can then ensure that we have sufficient licenses to cover all members of the group. Can you please confirm via email to me that this meets all licensing requirements. If you have any documentation that covers this in detail could you please provide them.
I have contacted your customer support and they could not provide an answer on this and I’m sure this is something you will have been asked before.

We have Acrobat Writer DC 2015 Standard and Professional. When looking in ADD/Remove programs and in the Registry. Where can I look on machines to tell what version they have installed? Opening the program is not an option.

Save .PDF back to SharePoint, Acrobat is renaming files
Problem very similar to the above link. My problem is that Acrobat is renaming pdf files with "aab04588" and removing the .pdf extension entirely when saving to a network drive. Users are running Adobe Acrobat Pro X and Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on windows 7 64bit. Adding the .pdf extension to the file works in that it is then a working pdf but users lose all work saved up to that point after adding the .pdf extension to the file. Any thoughts?

Working with Acrobat DC, found the method to create an exception for the master image. Ran the command before saving the image. Acrobat now works (doesn't ask for a login), but my previous install of the Master Collection, which ran with another prov.xml licensing solution has reverted back to it's unlicensed conditon. The Acrobat DC exception also removes the credentials from the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop. Is there anyway to make these pieces of software play nice for imaging?
Just downloaded the latest version of Adobe Acrobat DC 2015 and when trying to run the latest version of the Wizard (CustWiz1500920069_en_US_DC.exe) I get a message saying "Wizard cannot modify this package. Please browse to a valid Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat MSI package."
Here's what I did, step by step:
1. Installed Adobe Acrobat DC with license key for user
2. Upon first run, Adobe prompts for sign-in.
3. I tell user I will defer her signing up an account with adobe (because I'm unsure of company policy) - Exited out of adobe
4. I look to see how to disable sign-in prompt. Users point toward options within Adobe Customization Wizard
5. Downloaded Adobe customization wizard, granted offline exception for license and disabled online features.
here is the issue: now that i've installed the non-custom adobe for this user, how do i deactivate to reinstall the product, if i can't even get into the program without "signing up" with adobe? has the product been activated upon install when it asks for my license key, or would it need an adobe ID in its first launch to activate the software? i don't want this instance of an install to count against the license limit and then run into issues with a re-install.

edit (12/1/2015 4:21 PM): for those interested, I went ahead and uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat DC using the modified package options provided by Adobe Customization Wizard. This solves the sign-in prompt issue, but I'd still like to know whether the first install counted toward her license count (IIRC, Adobe allows licenses for two workstations for one user, most commonly for a user's desktop and laptop).

we are trying to install Adobe Acrobat DC on a provisioned Citrix XenDesktop 7.6 Farm.
Installation has been customized using the customization wizard. As described here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/citrix.html
The Installation is working on the Server where the installation originally has been made. User don't get any Online Dialoges Product is activated correctly.
Since this farm is provisioned as described here:
New Server with different Hostnames start from the same Disk.
If users log on to this new Server and start Adobe Acrobat they are presented with a Dialog to Log In as if the application has not been customized or activated.
How can this Problem be resolved? Has someone encountered the same problem or even found a working solution?

We are running into an issue with XA7.6 on PVS 7.6 and Server 2012 R2. I can key the master machine, but the provisioned targets are challenging users for the activation key. I downloaded the latest version of the Adobe Application Manager from the Using Adobe Provisioning Toolkit Enterprise Edition link and installed it. After installing the tool (no errors), the adobe_prtk.exe utility doesn't show up any where on the hard drive. I found and older version of the tool and installed that. The adobe_prtk.exe file did show up, but when I tried to run the command-line string with the key and leid to generate the prov.eml file I get an error 14. We opened a ticket with Adobe over a week ago and can't seem to get anyone to call us. When we try to talk to support we get run in circles. It is very frustrating as you might imagine and the client is livid at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a customized install of reader installing the base package of 11.0.00 and then patching it to 11.0.09. Everything is working good except this message pops up. I have users that do not need to see this message. Help?

I am having a bit of trouble disabling the required sign-in after installing Acrobat DC Standard and Pro. I have used the Customization Wizard to grant the offline exception which seemed to work but as soon as I take a ghost image of the machine and roll it out to a new one, Acrobat reverts to asking for the sign-in again. Removing and reinstalling on the new machine fixes the problem but this is not a solution when we have to roll out hundreds of computer images. Any ideas?
